Born into a humble family, Mrs. Nagamma Obleshappa, as the sixth child, he toiled tirelessly in labor-intensive roles, ranging from construction to vulcanizing and bike mechanics. As time passed, he ventured into the automobile industry, broadening his horizons. Remarkably, he played a pivotal role in assisting communities during the 2018 Kerala floods and the 2019 Madikere floods, providing essential supplies to the affected.
During the initial outbreak of the coronavirus, his altruistic spirit shone brightly as he assisted approximately 300 individuals with daily necessities such as food, water, bananas, and masks. Additionally, he provided ration kits to around 60 impoverished families aged 60 and above. This spirit of service fueled his vision to establish the Mathroodevo Social Welfare and Educational Charitable Trust. Pothula Srinivas's journey serves as an inspiration for us to make a positive impact on society, uplift the underprivileged, and create a brighter future.
